London Mae

Stats at Birth:
Date - 9/16/09
Time - 8:29 pm
Weight - 7 lbs 14 oz
Length - 19.5 inches

We all are doing well.
Thanks for the love and support

London is worth the wait!

London didn't come on her "due date" but I think we all agree that we would gladly wait longer if we had to for our sweet little one. Hope you enjoy some of the video Nana took at the hospital.

We have been soo blessed with 2 beautiful and healthy little girls. First Ashby and now London. Ashby is a fantastic big sister already. Here is the early proof of that. She definitely loves her baby sister. We know that London will be trying to do everything like her big sister before long. But for now, she is doing just what she should: eating and sleeping. Ryan and I so happy.

Happy 29th Handsome

When Ryan told me he wanted to go to Fuddruckers, a hamburger-type only place, for his birthday dinner with his family I have to admit I was thinking "ahh man". It's not that I don't enjoy a good burger now and then. It's just (as my dad now knows -sorry Tommy's Burgers) I kind of am one to get over eating burgers rather quickly.
But don't worry the food was more than just a burger. The atmosphere was fun and we had a good time.

Then for Sunday dinner my family came down to celebrate and enjoy some time together. My mom is lucky lady and has a "tamale lady" that makes frequent stops to sell yummy food at her
house! So she brought yummy Mexican food plus a home made peanut-chocolate ice cream cake! Mmmmm. We laughed, told silly stories and had a really nice evening. We were so glad to have as many family members there as we did!
Then afterward just before Ashby went to bed, we decided we needed a family picture of the day daddy got wiser :). Yep, London is in it too.
Hope it was a fun weekend Ryan

Happy Birthday Ken

Hey who of you has ever had 4 birthday cakes made for you on your birthday? Me? Never. Maybe 2? And probably not both on my actual birthday. Ken (my father-in-law) had 4. Including and ice cream cake. Way too much sugar, but cool to be loved!
Oh, and I think this was Jordan's first time being with his dad on his birthday.

Happy Birthday Rach!

Now many of you may not know, but Ryan has an older and very awesome sister Rachel. She works and goes to school at the U and lives up in the Avenues area of down town Salt Lake.

Because of her busy schedule, it is sometimes hard to get together with her. Celebrating her birthday was no exception.

Her birthday is actually at the very beginning of the month, but due the the Super Bowl we didn't celebrate together with all the siblings in Utah (sorry Jordan) until the 22nd of Feb.

Grandpa Ken made a wonderful meal and his (the best) to-die-for Carrot Cake!
Ashby LOVES Aunt Rachel, Rachel returns the love by letting her help open her gifts!

Yay! What a Party!

Happy, Happy Birthday from us, to Rachel

Happy Sweet 16 M'Chellie!

Well Michelle is my youngest sister, the baby of the family. Sometimes I forget that we are seperated by 10 years. I mean, what did I do in the first 10 years of my life without her? I mean, she is really fun, smart, cute and generally I think I've always loved her. Okay, well maybe my love was a little conditional (on a name) at the start. But lets not get all worked up about that.

Anyway, on July 7th she turned 16. So of course we had to have a party. In addition to the fam, she had a bunch of her closest friends over for what 16 year old girls to best: giggling, boy talk, laughing and fun! Instead of a cake, she decided on 3 different types of homemade cookies. So the day before, Mom and I spent a long time in the kitchen! For her birthday she got lost of nice things including, but not limited to a copy of Breaking Dawn, by Stephenie Meyer. A cute white hat, soda, lotion, movies, music, candy aaAnnd moola to go clothes shopping with. She and I went together on her actual birthday. Thanks sis, for letting me in on the special day!

Here she is blowing out the candle on her cookie-cake! Lookin' cute!

She doesn't have her license yet, so don't get worried about staying clear of the road. But when she does we probably won't have to worry too much, she'll do just fine!

Ashby helped in the kitchen and wanted her picture here to prove it.
Anyway, Happy Birthday lil' sis. Love you big!

Ashby is Officially 2

2nd Birthday Party #2
Here is our birthday Girl! With both cheeks painted playing out back in on the grass. Our family and friends gathered with us here in Orem at the house. We had a handful of neighborhood friends and they each had a chance to make their own "party" hat, get their face painted and just have fun. We sang, had cake and ice cream and had presents. Overall I'd say that turning 2 seems more fun then turning 1. Enjoy some of our snapshots.
Singing and Cake
You can sing along if you'd like! :)

She Blew out the Candle! Horse Cake Loved being sang to!

Present Time!
The high pile of presents were much appreciated. She loves everything. But what I loved best were the tons of tissue paper used in wrapping. Did you know it is fun to stand under like falling leaves? Ashby Loved it

Friends and Family
Cute and Smileing faces

Lots of love.

Grandpa Ken and Uncle Preston where also there, I just failed to get them in photos. Aunt Amy and Uncle Jason left on dates! Anyway, it was fun to celebrate and to feel the love that we share in children.

Ashby's Early Celebration. A Picnic Party!

Ashby's 1st, 2nd Birthday!
May 24th

Because Nana and Papa won't be able to make it out to Utah for her real birthday, we had to celebrate early! What was orignally planned to be a picnic on the beach ended up in the backyard due to cold almost raining weather. We still had lots of fun.
Here Daddy is showing her how to Celebrate!

Happy Happy Birthday Wind..I mean Ashby
Blowing out the candles!

The Happy Picnic Party Goers

Ashby the entertainment for the party.

Month of Grandpa Birthdays

What would you do if you woke up on your birthday and people told you, it's April 1st and there's snow outside! You'd think haha, April fools right! Well this morning that is exactly what Grandpa Ken woke to. Snow! It's April, where are all the spring flowers! Well, this is what we got here in Utah!

Snow on the Trees!

Ice hanging from the branches!

So we had some snow days and decided that we would need to get out and do some playing! But before long, the winter snows melted and we were left with beautiful April Flowers like these.
Grandpa Loveless had Ashby by his side the entire celebration from gifts and games to songs and blowin' out of the candles! Happy Birthday Grandpas!
