Things that Grandmas and Nanas like best!

With few opportunities to spend time with Ashby's many, loving Grandmas, I thought the next best thing having their grand-baby is getting to see lots of cute pictures and videos. So to those of you who aren't feeling Grandmotherly....or auntish or of course the male version of either of these, then stop by later when I've a newer post up. Thanks Enjoy

One of Ashby's favorite thing to do with Daddy...be SIlly!

Yes, you did see pictures of this day, but I just love how sincerely she states how many shirts she is wearing!

Ladies in Las Vegas

Tracy and I got in the car with her awesome selection for music, a rather well written "dating book" and Ashby and drove down to Vegas to have a nice weekend visit with Lolly, Ava and Brian. We had late night talks and movies. We worked out together, shopped and had a photo shoot! We decided that college friends can be fun even with a couple of toddlers. Ashby and Ava had lots of fun. And so did we!

Lolly helping to beautify our hair!

Each of us took a turn being "America's Top Model"

I think we all had a lot of fun.

We went down to Ceasar's Palace and had a nice lunch, didn't really gamble and tried catch some fun moments.

Beautiful day in Vegas

Ava and Ashby didn't miss a beat, they shopped together, played together, they even had fun in the tub!

Brain, thanks for sharing your girls this weekend, Happy Birthday too.

A Great Day

Today Ryan and I drove up to be with my family as Stacy, my brother Jared's wife-to-be, goes to the Temple for the first time. We all had the opportunity to be reminded what matters most. And to me that is following our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and also loving and supporting our families.
We wanted a picture of all of us who came that day so we asked a friendly stranger for some help. I think it turned out nice. In the group pic from left to right you have my dad, Ryan, my mom, me, Jared (brother), Stacy (fiancee), Chris (room-mate), Emily and Stephen (Stacy's fam). The day wasn't sunny but it was nice.
Afterward we went to my parents house in Ogden for a nice casual lunch and fun. Overall, I'd say if one of the main goals of Temple is to draw families together then this day saw this mission accomplished!
