Santa came to our ward Christmas party. All the kids had fun talking to him. This particular "Helper of Santa" looks a little familiar. Any guesses?

Today Ashby dressed up as a Pioneer. She wore it both before and after meals and quiet time. She would ask me to help her take it off so it "would be otay". Seriously though, who doesn't like playing dress up?? I know I do.

Loveless Family Pictures

Adam came out for three things:

1. Mom's 52nd birthday CHECK

2. Michelle's Play (Peter Pan) CHECK

3. Early Thanksgiving CHECK

Now, my parents used to take all us kids dressed up and "happy" to Olen Mills picture studios for family photos. That ended after too many of us were teenagers. So up until a couple of years ago we didn't have any recent (like in the past 5 years) family pictures.

Anyway, now we try and do it at least once every year when we all together.

You may not have know this about me....

This may or may not come as a surprise to you:

I am a closet Twilight fan. I mean, as silly as the story is, I really like it.

My sisters (who although younger than me, influenced me in this) and I decided to go to a midnight showing of it...kind of a last sister horah before Amy leaves to serve as a missionary. Our oldest brother came too. We had fun together, enjoyed to movie and even posed afterward!

An Actual Halloween Party

Our friends the Furrs had a Halloween Party halloween night. After we got Ashby to bed, we walked over. It was pretty chill, but a really fun "just adults" night out. We all had fun...especailly after the Tom Cruise guy went home. Thanks to the Furrs and the Nelsons for putting it together! I think Brian, I mean Waldo's face is the best! haha
